Forming long lasting relationships with my clients is the best thing about my job.

I’ve been in freight for 20+years working in many departments including Pricing, Customer Service, Import / Export Air, Import / Export Sea.

Like a lot of Kiwi kids, I lived in London for 2 years on my O.E and was fortunate enough to travel round much of Europe including a lot of the places we ship to /from, which is really helpful when working on logistics. Have worked in both locally owned and corporate freight companies, I believe this has been beneficial to the service I can now provide. 

Rather than numbers and spreadsheets, I believe in working for the client with a personal approach - not having them become just another number.

When I am able to, I love to travel! In the past this has been primarily international vacations, but with Covid putting the brakes on this, I have been exploring our own country.  I have such a huge appreciation for what we and this beautiful country have to offer, supporting the smaller businesses, keeping things local, it is well worth it!

In another life, I’m pretty sure I was a Quokka…..known as the worlds happiest animal!

The best piece of advice I have ever been given is to treat others the way you would like to be treated.

If I were a superhero, my superpower would be to take away pain…not everything in life is smooth sailing but wouldn’t it be nice if you could just take this one small thing away.
